Doing something really wonderful for yourself, like beginning and sticking with a physical practice is actually a double whammy. Not only will you reap the rewards of moving and grooving your body like never before, but you also set the stage of giving…to YOU! What?! That’s a crazy concept!

Most of us have a tough time setting aside that necessary “me time” and then become worn out, beyond fatigued and perhaps resentful. We fall back on the excuse of not even having the energy to research what type of exercise to do, what facility to practice in, or who to sweat it out with because our time is given to others. However, when this cycle breaks, amazing things can happen!

I’ve witnessed this change in both my clients and myself. It is pretty miraculous at how not only our bodies respond to the gift of time, attention and the energy of being worth it, but also how our minds begin to alter. We become calmer, more forgiving, relaxed when faced with challenge; an all around happier person. It’s fantastic! And I can only encourage you to let some things in your hectic schedule fall to the way side for bit…try one month of putting this time for YOU ahead of it all. Allow the urgency to take care of everyone and everything first to cease for those 30 days and wait…see, feel, experience what happens. It will happen, and those around you will sense that positivity shining from you. Gifts given and received by the one and only YOU have the ability to affect your tribe, your posse, your peeps.

So, if you want to encourage some good vibes in the lives of those you treasure, make that appointment and set aside the time to be in your body. Give to YOU and experience the transformation!
